These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Chashmawale website and all associated services. Chashmawale reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Products & Orders

Product Information

We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free. In case of a material error in pricing or description, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.

Order Confirmation

Placing an order does not constitute a guaranteed contract. Chashmawale reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. You will be notified promptly and refunded in full if an order is cancelled by us.

Prescription Accuracy

You are solely responsible for providing accurate prescription details. Chashmawale is not liable for any optical discomfort resulting from incorrect prescription information submitted by the customer.

Stock & Availability

All products are subject to availability. We do not guarantee that any item will remain in stock at the time of order processing. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

3. Pricing & Payment

Pricing

All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Shipping charges, if any, are displayed separately at checkout.

Payment Methods

We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, popular digital wallets, and Cash on Delivery (COD) where available. All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.

GST

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applicable on all products as per prevailing Indian tax laws. The applicable GST is included in the displayed price.

Coupon Codes & Offers

Promotional offers and coupon codes are subject to specific terms and expiry dates. They cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Chashmawale reserves the right to withdraw any offer at any time without prior notice.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Timelines

We aim to dispatch orders within 2–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 5–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees; delays due to logistics partners or unforeseen circumstances are outside our control.

Shipping Charges

Free shipping is available on orders above a specified threshold (displayed at checkout). Standard shipping charges apply to orders below this threshold.

Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Chashmawale is not liable for non-delivery caused by incorrect address information provided by the customer.

5. Returns & Refunds

Return Eligibility

Products may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by the original invoice. Prescription eyewear, contact lenses once opened, and customised products are non-returnable unless defective.

Defective / Wrong Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. For COD orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or store credit.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All content on the Chashmawale website — including but not limited to text, images, logos, product descriptions, and the overall website design — is the intellectual property of Chashmawale or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Restrictions

Force Majeure

Chashmawale shall not be held liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or failures of third-party service providers.

8. User Conduct

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
